Sasser is continuously seeking to create designs that show the synergy between inspiration and function. Known for his indoor and outdoor furniture, home decor, accessories, lamps and lighting fixtures in all types of mixed media, Sasser enjoys creating new ways to see and experience what has become commonplace and finds design inspiration from his travels all over the World and is reflected in his unique design style. Combining many of his passions, design allows Sasser to explore the dialog and co-existence between product and person. From molding to casting and finish, Sasser recreates a wide range of period pieces from the distant past of the 1500’s to more modern pieces from the 1960′s.
With a mission to innovate and challenge the norm, every piece is thoughtfully crafted to provide a higher level of functionality and truly unique user experience. Sasser has looked for inspiration beyond the furniture industry. Aside from region specific materials like shells, bamboo and stones, he also uses materials used in boats, architecture, skyscrapers, and the oil industry for his pieces and gains a personal satisfaction from each step of the creative process and the challenge of turning concepts into beautifully manufactured masterpieces.
